Gypsum Retarder is a modified amino acid-based powder retarder for gypsum mortar.

Product Performance

Strong retarding performance. It can provide required setting time for gypsum mortar at low dosage, with minimal influence on the dry strength of the gypsum. 

The setting time changed steadily and linearly with dosage increasing. 
Lime has no obvious influence on the setting time of gypsum. 
When matching with our water reducer, defoamer and stabilizer, it can better adjust the recipe of gypsum mortar.

Recommended Usage

Add in proportion and mix thoroughly. Recommended dosage is 0.05 - 0.5% of binder weight. 
Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.

 

Packing and Storage

 

For powder: Powder packed in 25kg bag. 
It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture.
Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
