Thixotropic Agent is a high performance powder material used in various wall mortar materials such as plastering, which helps to achieve a better balance between smooth construction and anti-sagging resistance. It is especially suitable for flowable cement-based mortars or gypsum mortars.

Product Performance

 

1. Compared with ordinary anti-sagging products, the anti-sagging and thixotropic properties are superior.
2. While meeting the requirements of anti-sagging, the material has low viscosity, resulting in a lighter and smoother skimming feel during application.
3. Does not affect the mechanical properties of the material.
4. When combined with other admixtures(air en-training agent, SMF water reducer), better material properties can be obtained.

1. Light weight/ heavy weight plaster
2. Various systems of putty powder, bonding mortar, caulking agent(paste)
3. Cement plastering mortar, wall anti-cracking mortar
4. Application of other wall materials.

Recommended Usage

Add in proportion and mix thoroughly. Recommended dosage is 0.02 - 0.1% of binder weight. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
 

Packing and Storage

For powder: Powder packed in 25kg bag. 

It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture.
Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
